Kari Hegg

Executive Director 

Kari leads the National Guard Relief Foundation with a deep commitment to ensuring National Guard members and their families have somewhere to turn when they need help. Her background in underwriting, financial services, program management, and organizational leadership gives her a practical understanding of both the people NGRF serves and the operations that make that support possible. She is passionate about building strong partnerships, strengthening NGRF’s programs, and creating sustainable ways for the Foundation to serve the National Guard community for years to come.

 

Audrey Williams

Controller

Audrey brings nearly 40 years of accounting experience and has served as NGRF’s Controller for nine years. She manages accounts payable and receivable, payroll, cash management, financial reporting, and the disbursement of approved grant and loan funds. Audrey values the opportunity to use her experience to support NGRF’s mission and help provide timely financial assistance to National Guard members and their families.

Suzy Parker,  MBA, SHRM-CP

SARGE Grant Program Specialist

Suzy supports NGRF’s Sarge Grant Program, helping connect National Guard members and their families with meaningful assistance during times of need. She holds a bachelor’s degree and MBA from Oregon State University and is a SHRM Certified Professional. Drawing on her background in human resources and consulting, Suzy brings a service-focused approach to her work and a strong commitment to supporting the National Guard community.  

Steve Jensen

Loan Intake & Underwriting Specialist 

Steve manages loan application intake and underwriting for NGRF, guiding applicants through the review process with clarity and respect. With more than a decade of experience in underwriting, insurance, business analysis, and risk assessment, he brings thoughtful judgment and strong analytical expertise to each application. Steve is committed to making the assistance process approachable and ensuring National Guard members and their families feel supported throughout their experience with NGRF.

Mallory Steinmetz

Technology & Payment Operations Specialist  

Mallory supports NGRF’s technology and payment operations, helping ensure the systems behind the Foundation’s work run reliably and efficiently. With experience in technical project management, systems operations, and cross-functional technology coordination, she brings a practical, detail-oriented approach to solving problems. Mallory is committed to using technology to strengthen NGRF’s operations and help resources reach National Guard members and their families effectively.
